- *** This solicitation has been postponed indefinitely subject to the availability of funds IAW FAR 52.232-18 Availability of funds (APR 1984)*** The purpose of this announcement is to provide a Pre-solicitation Notice for the release of the solicitation for Off-Duty Education Support Services for Aviano, and Ghedi AB, FA5682-10-T-0004. This acquisition is being offered as a commercial acquisition under FAR part 12 utilizing Performance-Price trade off without technical factors. The services under this acquisition will include General Academic Advisor Services (GAA), Education and Training Section Technical Support Services, and Testing Specialist Services for Aviano AB and GAA for Ghedi AB. This will be an unrestricted solicitation under the designated NAICS Code is 611710, Educational support services. The Small Business Size Standard is $7.0 million. Aviano AB anticipates award of a Firm Fixed-Price, contract. The anticipated initial period of performance is a base period of 1Feb 10 - 30 Sep 10, followed by four (4) one-year option periods (1 Oct- 30 Sep of the next 4 Years). The solicitation will be will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS once funds become available. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. This is strictly a Synopsis to inform industry about an upcoming requirement. No proposals will be accepted based on this pre-solicitation notice. ***Additional Information**** Italian Certification will be required for this acquisition in the form of DURC and 2) Chamber of Commerce Certificate, locally known as "Certificato Iscrizione alla Camera di Commercio/Albo Provinciale Delle Imprese Vigilanza Privata.
