- The FAA intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for the relocation and replacement of an 8-element Mark 1F Localizer antenna array with a 14-element Mark 1F Localizer antenna array serving Runway 28 at Cherry Capital Airport, Traverse City, Michigan. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to perform the project in accordance with the contract clauses, specifications and drawings. The work consists of, but not limited to, the following: 1. Contracted services of a registered land surveyor (RLS) to properly layout the subject sites and provide horizontal and vertical control. Locate underground utilities prior to digging. 2. Site preparation for Localizer (LOC) antenna site and LOC equipment shelter site. 3. Install and maintain erosion control measures to protect ditches and inlets. 4. Accomplish other incidental duties to accommodate site peculiar conditions. 5. Implement and maintain a quality control plan to ensure contract compliance. Conduct all required tests and checks to verify contract compliance. 6. Miscellaneous civil and electrical work as described in the drawings and specifications. The work will be performed in strict accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. Contract performance time is 60 calendar days, with an anticipated start date of project as March 22, 2010. The estimated price range for this procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS is 237990. INTERESTED FIRMS MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED SIMILAR PROJECTS BOTH IN DOLLAR AMOUNT AND SCOPE OF WORK AT AN OPERATIONAL AIRPORT.
