- DESCRIPTION: RECOVERY - Replace Staff Quarters, ARRA Funded FFS Project Number R6BE, TAS::14 1613::TAS. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTORS UNDER THE USFWS REGION 6 ND/MT MATOC IDIQ CONTRACTS. This is not a solicitation. The USFWS Region 6 has a requirement to Staff Quarters, Red Rock Lakes NWR. It is the intent of the Government to award a task order on an existing IDIQ contract. These contracts were awarded under competitive 8(a) guidelines with the use of best value source selection procedures. These contracts are 601818D700 - MCS Environmental, Inc.; 601818D702 - Keplin-Gracon JV; and 601818D749 - Hardrives Construction, Inc. The Task order will be firm fixed price. The NAICS code is 236116, New Multifamily Housing Construction; size standard $33.5 M. The project magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS BEING OFFERED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS LIMITED TO REGION 6 MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT: Work under this task order consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment required to construct a wood-framed, four bedrooms, four bath duplex, and ready for occupancy. Work shall include earthwork, cast-in-place concrete stem wall foundation, ground-coupled heat pump for heating and cooling, septic system with 1,500 gallon septic tanks, connection of electric, water and telephone utilities to the residence with concrete driveway, concrete side walk ramp, according to the specifications and drawings. JOB CONDITIONS: The Contractor shall be responsible for all construction surveys and staking required for performance of all work to the lines, grades, and slopes shown on the drawings. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE: The site of the work is at the Red Rocks Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, located approximately 35 miles east of Lima, Montana in Beaverhead County. Prospective offerors are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Refuge Manager, Red Rocks Lakes NWR, 27820 South Valley Road, Lima, MT 59739, telephone number 406-276-3536. Your attention is invited to review Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.236-3, Site Investigation and Conditions Affecting the Work (Apr 1984). Failure of the Contractor to ascertain the nature, location, and conditions which affect the work will not relieve the contractor from the responsibility for successfully performing the work without additional expense to the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: The estimated magnitude of the project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The total performance period is 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code is 236116, New Multifamily Housing Construction and the size standard is $33.5 Million.
