- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FM442793020897; Vitrectomy Units. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38, effective 10 December 2009, DCN 20091229, and AFAC 2009-1030. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112. The business size standard is 500. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6515. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3827. This request for quotation consists of the following: CLIN 0001: Vitrector system - combination of a laser and vitrector performing highly specialized, sight-saving operations with built-in gas line ports and xenon illumination in one unit (1 /ea); Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none.
