- The Department of Labor (DOL) has a requirement for a 12 month online subscription to State Net’s Legislative and Regulatory Service. State Net provides an online database that tracks and reports all state and federal UI legislation from introduction to enactment on a daily basis. State Net also provides online customized UI regulatory screening, status, and summaries, as well as the yearly state legislative sessions. The customized screening and reports are created via State Net’s unique search engines and the expertise of issue analysts. A sole-source, firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. The proposed contract action is for services which the government intends to award to one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 519130 with a size standard of 500 Employees. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 7375. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document exists. Responses to this synopsis must be in writing. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Response must include the capability statement and reference this synopsis by number and title. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet this requirement by e-mail lamb.michael@dol.gov, January 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM EST.
