Description

DESC-RN uses the Axxis prices for escalator clauses in a number of DESC fuels contract and is a recurring requirement. Each location and fuel is evaluated against one other price service in order to determine the best reflection of each market. There is only one competitor to Axxis, DESC currently has a contract with this vendor as well. It assists DESC to have access to both resources to determine which best reflects each local market and therefore which escalator clauses to use in the DESC contracts. DESC-RN uses the Axxis prices for escalator clauses in a number of DESC fuels contract and is a recurring requirement. Each location and fuel is evaluated against one other price service in order to determine the best reflection of each market. The Axxis subscription includes Weekly Rack Averages (CTA’s) for up to 360+ cities, electronic refined petroleum and specialty product price delivery for up to 360+ cities, including new product, supplier and terminal coding. In addition, the subscription will include custom modifications for PS Data Feed; review of basket pricing; CTA calculations and coding; web portal posting and go-live support.
