Description

RECOVERY GRTE PMIS #083219 TAS::14 1041:: TAS The National Park Service (NPS), Department of the Interior, is soliciting proposals for the rehabilitation of the 58,000 square foot Moose Maintenance Building at Grand Teton National Park, Moose, Wyoming. Work includes partial demolition, reconstruction, and complete build-out to consolidate the park's business, maintenance, administrative, and emergency response functions. Structural elements are to be removed and/or replaced and the contractor will be required to monitor the integrity and safety of the overall structure as the work progresses and portions are demolished and replaced. Additional rehabilitation efforts include replacement of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, voice/data, and fire alarm systems. The project will be formally submitted for LEED certification. The project performance period is 545 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated price range for this project is between $9,000,000 and $12,000,000. This project is being solicited and awarded pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 USC 637(a)(1)) and in accordance with FAR 19.8. Accordingly, it is open to only 8(a) certified firms located within SBA Region 8 (Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming), SBA Region 10 (only Idaho), and 8(a) participants in good standing serviced by a SBA office outside of these states, but having a Bona fide branch office within the geographical boundaries of these states. SBA requirement number is 0897-10-000920. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The Government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about February 17, 2010.
