Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, but market research to determine potential sources for software upgrades maintenance and technical support for SOCET GXP and SOCET Set Software Suites for the Air Force Targeting Center (AFTC) formerly the Combat Targeting Intelligence Group (CTIG) at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. AFTC requires the following software licenses: SOCET GXP GeoFoundation, SOCET GXP GeoFusion, SOCET GXP IA Classified Advanced Targeting Bundle, SOCET GXP Classified IA Bundle, SOCET GXP Classified Core, SOCET GXP VCT, SOCET GXP Image Comparison, SOCET GXP Registration, SOCET Set Core Set ASM, and SOCET Set Dodger. The required upgrade maintenance and technical support for the SOCET GXP and SOCET Set Software Suites provide the following services to AFTC: (1) The right to upgrade the Air Force Targeting Center's licenses of the SOCET GXP and SOCET Set Software Suites to the latest software version release, and (2) Technical support in the form of telephone support, email, and internet/web based support of all SOCET GXP and SOCET Set Software Suite licenses. The AFTC continues to utilize these licenses, and requires software upgrade maintenance and technical support to ensure the continued operation and compatibility of the SOCET GXP Software Suite and the SOCET Set Software Suite. Potential contractors need to have the ability to provide the following licences per the quantities listed: SOCET GXP GeoFoundation (8 licenses) SOCET GXP GeoFusion (2 licenses) SOCET GXP IA Classified Advanced Targeting Bundle (11 licenses) SOCET GXP Classified IA Bundle (4 licenses) SOCET GXP Classified Core (24 licenses) SOCET GXP VCT (7 licenses) SOCET GXP Image Comparison (10 licenses) SOCET GXP Registration (2 licenses) SOCET Set Core (2 licenses) SOCET Set ASM (2 licenses) SOCET Set Dodger (2 licenses) The NAICS code for this procurement is 541511 with a size standard of $25,000,000 This sources sought synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Interested sources should respond to this synopsis by submitting (1) Name, Address, and phone number of the firm (including CAGE code); (2) Size status; (3) provide with their response a statement that they are authorized to obtain Brand Name Licenses for the SOCET GXP and SOCET Set Suites Software; and (4) provide literature (qualification package) that describes their experience regarding the software technical capabilities; their understanding of the SOCET GXP and SOCET Set Suites Software including support and training. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industries responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future RFQ. Please note that FEDBIZOPPS will be the primary source of information for this acquisition. Interested parties should check FEDBIZOPPS for updates frequently. Potential Offerors are cautioned that this synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or substituting a response to this notice.
