Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-07-G-0008 with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111 on a sole-source basis for the implementation of an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) for the Procurement of the redesign of the aft portion of the MLG Door Hinge for the V-22 Tilt-Rotor Aircraft. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tilt-Rotor Aircraft. Bell-Boeing is the only source that possesses the technical data and requisite knowledge required to perform this effort. This requirement will be for the Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) and recurring efforts including, but not limited to the design, manufacturing engineering, process planning, tool design, and tool fabrication to improve the current MLG Door Hinge design.
