- 1.Q: Within the conference room, what is the distance from the wall for the heaters? A: The heaters come out from the wall 6 1/2 inches. 2. Solicitation Line 1AA - Q: What style base do you want on the conference table? A: Anything except cylinder bases 3. Solicitation Line 2AA Q: Are chairs wood? Fabric on Arms? Side chair-Qty 15? Chairs around table-Qty 12 rolling? Do you want a wood base on chairs around table? A: Side chair (15)- wood to match the table, no fabric on arms. Chairs around table (12) - please provide examples of both wood and no wood. 4. Solicitation Line 4AA Q: Is buffet style- 2 feet x 6 feet located against the wall ok? A: 2 feet x 6 feet is too big. Ideal size would be with a depth no wider than 15 inches and no longer than 4 feet. 5. Solicitation Line 5AA Q: Are lockers secured against the wall? Do you want hooks and shelf? Do you want a continuous base? A: Yes, lockers secured against the wall. Yes, hooks and a shelf. No rod. Yes, continuous base. 6.Solicitation Line 6AA Q: Do pedestal benches for locker room need to be attached to the floor? What size bench do you want? A: Yes, pedestal benches need to be attached to the floor. No longer than 3 feet please. 7.DISREGARD. Removed from solicitation for bid as per modification. 8. Solicitation Line 8AA Q: Is a T-leg base ok? A: T-leg is okay 9. Solicitation Line 9AA Q: Do you want fabric or poly seat and back? A: Poly seat 10. Q: Does the Buy American Act apply, specifically China. A: Yes, it applies. No furniture from China allowed. Qualifying countries are listed within: Reference FAR Part 25 (48 CFR Part 25), 25.400. and DFARS Part 225 (48 CFR Part 225, 225.403(c). 11: Q: Drawings show only 23 frames and 1 bench per room, RFQ calls for 25 frames per room plus 2 benches per room. Which way do you want this quoted? A: Quote as originally requested on the solicitation&25 frames and 2 benches per room. ** Do not quote on 0007-AA bookcases.
