Description
The United States Army War College (USAWC), Carlisle Barracks, PA has a requirement for lodging and meeting space for the Reserve Component National Security Issues Seminar (RCNSIS) in the Washington, DC area, to be held the end of April to beginning of May each year. This contract will include a Base Year (2010), plus two (2) Option Years (2011 and 2012). Exact dates for Base year will be listed in the RFP. Dates for subsequent years will be forwarded to the contractor at least six (6) months prior to the event. Hotel must be located within a three (3) mile radius of the White House or Pentagon, and must be within a 300 meter walking distance of a Metro Stop. Fifteen (15) parking passes will be required, if necessary, for USAWC staff and faculty. Approximately 70 rooms are required for a 6 night period. Approximately fifteen (15) of these rooms will be chargeable to the contract. The balance will be the responsibility of the attendees. Exact number and types of rooms will be listed in the RFP. A separate dining room to accommodate 70 people will be required. A separate conference room to accommodate 70 people will be required. Audio visual equipment and other miscellaneous services are required. Five (5) separate Seminar Rooms to accommodate 16 people will be required. The due date listed herein for receipt of proposals is approximate and subject to change based on actual issuance date. The RFP will contain the actual closing date. This requirement is unrestricted. Contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award; preferably by time of proposal submission.
