Description
RECOVERY - GPS/GNSS IDIQ CONTRACT The U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake and Volcano Hazards Programs have a requirement to establish a single indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract for the acquisition of Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) equipment. The contract will require the delivery of permanent and campaign systems with the following configurations: 1) GPS system with GNSS choke ring antenna, 2) GPS system with OEM GPS antenna, 3) GPS system with OEM GNSS antenna, 4) GPS system without antenna, 5) GNSS system with GNSS choke ring antenna, and 6) GNSS system with OEM GNSS antenna. Specific technical requirements for each system will be provided in the solicitation to this notice. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, firm-fixed price, IDIQ contract. The contract will have a five (5) year ordering period. The estimated contract value is $3.9M. The guaranteed contract minimum is $1M and the order minimum is $25,000. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about 22 Jan 2010. A formal solicitation is not available for release at this time. This requirement is unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 and the applicable size standard is 750 employees. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. There is no incumbent contractor. Funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s) will be required in any resultant contract.
