- This solicitation notice is for lodging within 10 miles from Cumberland, MD for the 372nd MP Company annual training. The award will be a fixed price contract. The target check-in date is 16 January 2010 for 15 nights. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, except as specified as Government-furnished, for lodging. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 721110, size standard of $7 Million. The solicitation will be posted on or about 06 January 2010 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS. It is suggested that prospective offers be registered in the Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA) Internet site, https://orca.bpn.gov/. Otherwise, a manual representations and certifications document will need to be completed prior to award. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor and must also include a copy of all insurance (s) (standard business, liability, extraordinary insurances) in order to submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable).
