- Market Research Questionnaire THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Computer Applications Instruction Services for inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp located in Ashland, KY. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611420 (Size Standard: $7.0 million). Two instructors are needed to fulfill this requirement. The focus of this program is to provide inmates with the opportunity to develop marketable skills by providing classes that will better prepare them for entry level jobs upon release. The work schedule will not exceed 30 sessions per week. A session is defined as one hour. The Contractor will provide computer application classes leading to a certificate of marketable training. The Contractor must possess at a minimum a BA/BS degree and certification from an educational organization of higher learning. The contractor must currently be affiliated as full-time/part-time/adjunct faculty or staff with an organization which has accreditation with one of the following accrediting agencies as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education: Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), North Central Association of Colleges and School (NCASCS), Higher Learning Commission, North Central Association Commission on School Improvement (NCACSI), or Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). The government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period will consist of a 12-month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed and a contract may or may not result. Market Research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, the government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about January 13, 2010, and will be distributed solely through General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organization can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market survey is January 20, 2010. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone request or written requests for the Market Survey will be accepted.
