- Open Competition - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation - PR# FE252092610011 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-37 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20091123 NAICS is 327390 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. *This acquisition is 100% small business set aside* Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer that meets the salient characteristics listed below as described in FAR clause 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal. 45 CONS/LGCB, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, 32925 is seeking to purchase Brand Name or Equal commercial items manufactured and designed by Carr Concrete Corporation or equal, as follows: (2 EA) 11'-6" X 30'-0"- concrete prefab storage building with one side door and one roll up. See delivery, freight, and crane. Rental included by winning bidder. Shipping FOB Destination, Patrick AFB, FL (2 EA). Minimum Salient Characteristic: System Performance Specifications: (2 each) Precast Concrete Storage Building 11'-6" X 30'-0": A.) Exposed Indiana Limestone Finish B.) Building manufacturer to provide Auto-Cad Drawings for customer approval C.) Building to have an interior height of 9'-0". D.) Man Door to be a 3'-0" x 7'0" - 3hr. fire rated 18 gauge heavy duty grade II galvanized steel door with polyurethand foam core, 1 3/4" thick with a 16v gauge fram with a primer painted and finish painted to owner's choice of color. Door to have a mortise lockset with contstruction core and a "Norton" 9300BC commericial hydraulic door closer. Door to have 2" drip cap, aluminum threshold, door sweep, stainless steel pull plate and three (3) stainless steel door hinges with non-removable pins. E.) Overhead Door to be 8'-0" wide x 7'-0" high, uni-inulated- 140 mph wind rated, 16 Ga. overhead door. (11'-6" End of Building) F.) Interior finish to be smooth concrete with two-part epoxy-polyamide painted walls and ceiling (color-white) G.) Building manufacturer to caulk all joints with "Sika-flex 1A polyurethane-based limestone-colored caulking on the interior and exterior of all joints H.) Floor to have a smooth concrete finish with a non-slip two part epoxy-polyamide painted finish (color-gray) I.) Roof to be coated with "Cool-Seal" elastomeric roof coating (color-white) J.) Building exterior surfaces to be treated with a clear penetrating silane sealer to prevent water absorption and freeze-thaw damage. K.) Roof and floor to be post-tensioned through the use of an internal tensioning cable for the additional protection against cracking and checking. L.) Precast Building to have two (2) "Arrow" Model # FS-109 Inverted "V" Louvers. M.) Louvers to have exterior aluminum rain hoods with replaceable insect screens. N.) Hurricane Tie Down Package including eight (8) Cinch Anchors 0.) Building to include delivery to Patrick Air Force Base, Florida P.) Crane Rental- (operated and maintained) to be provided by the building manufacturer. (The Crane is to be large enough to off-load and set building with in a 25'-0" radius of the center pin of crane to center of building. Q.) Personnel to unload and set building inot place at project site. R.) All lifting equipement to unload and set building to be supplied by building manufacturer. Preferred Delivery: 60 Days After Receipt of Order.
