- The VA intends to award a one year contract at Palo Alto Health Care Services for FDG-18, F-18, and N13. The information is being requested by using this Sources Sought Inquiry. The following announcement is unrestricted and addressed to all interested Contractors who wish to perform a contract with the Palo Alto VA Northern California Health Care System. The work to be performed is described below. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325412 and the related business size is standard with 750 employees. This notice is not a request for proposal and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Department of Veterans Affairs in any manner. INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WITH THEIR RESPONSE: a) Business Name, Address, Cage code, Duns Number, Size Classification based on the NAICS size standard, Socioeconomic Classification, and Point of Contact; b) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Annual Representations and Certifications, are required by FAR 4.1102. Prospective Contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR Database will make an Offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR Registration can be obtained via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov. Information on Annual Representations and Certification (ORCA) can be obtained via the internet at: http://orca.bpn.gov c) A positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a Prime Contractor; d) Evidence of your experience performing work of a similar type and scope to the work in this announcement within the last five years. The evidence should include: Contract Numbers, Project Titles, Dollar Amounts, and Points of Contact with telephone numbers. Do not include more than three past contracts or projects; e) Include company asset information, personnel resources and financial resources that demonstrate company responsibility and the capability to perform the work described in this Sources Sought Inquiry; f) Indicate if you are - or - are not the manufacture of the Radiopharmaceuticals requested; g) If you are not the manufacturer - you must supply the information as to the source of your supply. You must provide the name and size of the company that you will be using. RESPOND BY: Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice, by email to: Christine A. Peterson at christine.a.peterson3@va.gov no later than close of business (4:30pm) on 22 January 2010 THE PRINCIPLE COMPONENT OF THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDES: 1) 1500 Doses (15mCi) of FDG-18 Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) for use in the Positron emission Tomography (PET) for oncology, neurology imaging, and cardiac viability testing for Northern California 2) 300 Doses (10mCi) of F18 Sodium Fluoride (NaF) for use in the PET for bone imaging for Northern California 3. 200 Doses (10mCi) of N13 Ammonia for use in the PET for Myocardial Perfusion Studies DELIVERY: Requested Radiopharmaceuticals orders will be placed each day (Monday thru Friday by 4:30pm) to be delivered by scheduled delivery times. Additional orders may be placed throughout the business day for same day delivery. Contractor must be licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Contractor must provide routine delivery and pick-up as many times as required by the VAPAHCS - at no additional cost to the government. When additional orders, for FDG18 and F18,are place during normal business day for same day delivery - deliveries must arrive within one hour of the placed order. Normal hours are considered to be business days - Monday thru Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm.
