Orders will be placed directly with the Contractor by the Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Service. 2.The items shall be ordered by 5 P.M. for next day delivery by 7:30 A.M. the following day. (Items ordered Friday shall be delivered by Monday at 7:30 A.M.) 3.Stat orders are required to be delivered the same day as they are ordered. Individual STAT delivery times shall be established at delivery order request. 4.Contractor shall be available for order placement & delivery twenty-four (24) hours per day 365 days per year. Emergency orders may be required after normal working hours, weekends or during Federal Holidays (Normal Working Hours: 6:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.) 5.Pricing will be F.O.B. destination. 6.Deliveries: a.Scheduled deliveries to be made during normal pharmacy business hours, Monday - Friday. b.Saturday and Sunday a.m. scheduled deliveries require delivery ordered by 5:00 p.m. previous day and are limited to one per day during normal business hours. c.STAT deliveries include all deliveries required after normal pharmacy business hours and pharmacy-recognized holidays. d.Unscheduled deliveries include any delivery which is not STAT and cannot be placed on one of the "scheduled" runs assigned the customer but needs to be delivered during normal pharmacy business hours and pharmacy-recognized holidays. 7.Stat deliveries must be delivered to the VA within 90 minutes of order receipt. 8.Contractor shall accept telephone and/or facsimile orders. Product availability information will be available at the time of order placement. 9.Contractor shall verify all orders received via facsimile. 10.Contractor shall include with each dose delivered two (2) identical, self-adhesive labels/stickers that will be used for tracking and maintaining records within the Nuclear Medicine Department. 11.Turn around time for leukocyte labeling will be a maximum of three (3) hours from pick-up of blood to delivery of labeled white blood cells. 12.Contractor shall provide 2 copies of shipping invoice with each delivery. Deliveries will be made directly to the Nuclear Medicine Department located in Building 100, 2nd Floor, Room 2D159. Deliveries must be signed for by Nuclear Medicine Technologists.
