- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking sources for a construction contract entitled Roof Repairs, Clarkston Natural Resource Office. The office building is in Clarkston, Washington. This will be a firm-fixed-price contract. Scope of Work Contractor is required to: - Inspect, remove and provide new roof batt insulation as required to replace existing with visible mold growth or that has a cut or torn vapor barrier facing, or that is unsupported, shredded, torn or otherwise damaged and compromised. - Inspect, remove and provide new acoustical ceiling tile and suspension grid as required to replace existing water-stained, water-damaged, broken, unsupported and irregular fitting units and all bent or broken pieces of the existing suspension grid. - Provide a complete installation of a fluid-applied elastomeric roof coating system to rustproof, restore and waterproof the existing metal roof surfaces of the Clarkston Natural Resource Office building. - Provide two (2) new factory fabricated, pre-manufactured roof curbs for an existing pre-engineered metal roofing system to support two existing HVAC evaporative coolers located on top of the Clarkston Natural Resource Office roof. Contractor is required to follow the procedures in the Army Corps of Engineers Safety Manual, at http://www.usace.army.mil/CESO/Documents/EM385-1-1FINAL.pdf. This sources-sought announcement is issued for the purpose of identifying HubZone or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns with the capability to accomplish the work. Only those firms who respond to this announcement by submitting a statement of their current or past technical experience (what the firm has done) and current or past performance (how well the firm did it) similar to or the same as the requirements stated above, will be used in making the determination if the requirement is aside. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 218160 and the associated small business size standard is $14 million.
