- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Lakewood, CO, has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice) on a sole source basis. This posting will be referred to under Purchase Requisition Number: NWR104407. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-38, effective December 10,2009. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 334290, Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing and the business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is advertised under full and open procedures. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. Based on the information at this time, the Government considers the commodity specified as a sole source requirement from Lotek Wireless, Inc. and proposes to negotiate a contract with this firm on that basis. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. FWS' salient characteristics that will satisfy the Government's needs for its requirement for ten (10) Downloadable GPS Collars is as follows: - Ten (10) Downloadable GPS Collars with mortality detection, activity sensor, temperature, advanced scheduler, and timed drop off to be compatible with BIOMAP GPS software. If your company has a GSA contract, please provide the GSA Contract No. as well. Offers must be received NLT close of business, 26 January, 2010, at U.S. Fish and Wildlife, PO Box 678, Walden, CO 80480. Offers received after this date and time will be considered non responsible in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated.
