Description
SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY: This is a Sources Sought request for information to be used for market research purposes, only. The Government is conducting market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy and potential set-asides and no current requirement exists. The Government is seeking responses from small businesses capable of performing the required services. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Responses to this announcement are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses will not be used for evaluation in any future solicitation for this requirement. The government shall not be held responsible for any costs incurred in response to this sources sought announcement. Participation is strictly voluntary. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Ft. Stewart, GA, has an anticipated requirement for Marriage and Singles Retreats in the Orlando, FL area conducted under the FT Stewart Chaplain. It is anticipated that this will be a firm fixed price requirement. These marriage and singles retreats normally consist of between 50 and 100 people staying for a total of two nights. Meeting space is also normally required for these retreats. See the attached criteria sheet for more information. Anticipated NAICS is 721110 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7M. Interested respondents should submit a brief capabilities statement package (single spaced, 12 point font minimum) clearly demonstrating the firms ability to perform the services listed in the attached criteria. A generic capability statement is not acceptable. Please review the requirements listed below. At a minimum, the package shall address the following: 1. Title of the requirement, Company Name, Address, and POC. 2. Company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue history, office location(s), DUNS number/CAGE Code (CCR registration), and a statement regarding current small business status to include small business type(s)/certification(s) such as: SDB, 8a, HubZone, SDVOB, etc. 3. Please provide an ORCA record or fill out the attached clause 52.212-3 ALT 1. 4. Prior/current corporate experience (private and/or government) performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last five years. Statements should describe the dollar value, indicate whether your firm acted as the prime or subcontractor, list a customer Point of Contact with phone number, and provide description of the experience and how the referenced experience relates to the services described herein. 5. Description regarding capability to meet requirements discussed in the criteria sheet. 6. A list of restaurants and shops within a mile walking distance from the facility. 7. State the lead time (days) necessary for your firm to begin performance after award. Responses shall be submitted by email to Mark Draluck at mark.draluck@us.army.mil. Responses must be received no later than 12:00PM (EST) on Tuesday, 9 Feb 2010. A copy of criteria is attached to this notice under Additional Info: Additional documentation. See Below. Criteria. The following is a list of characteristics we are looking for in these retreats. "At least 25 to 50 hotel rooms available over a Friday and Saturday night. These rooms should be capable of holding two (2) people per room. "Two (2) meeting rooms for two (2) days. The meeting rooms should be capable of holding comfortably 50 to 100 people including children. One (1) room will be used for childcare provided by a third party. "Within mile walking distance of shops and restaurants. "Within half an hour drive of Disney World Theme Parks.
