Description

In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the 'Act'), Public Law 111-5, this notice is provided for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), intends to solicit competition and issue a task order under established Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract number 98210AD002 awarded to Perini Management Services, Framingham, MA; 98210AD004 MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Kennesaw, GA; and 98210AD006 BlueScope Construction, Kansas City, MO. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THESE INCUMBENT CONTRACTORS. The original IDIQ contract awards were made on a competitive basis. The task order to be competed and issued against the aforementioned contracts is for the following construction requirement: Construct Single Family Quarters at Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, Laurel, MD. The project is to provide a single family residence, complete and ready for occupancy with all utilities. The task order is anticipated to be awarded no later than March 31, 2010. The construction period will not exceed Oct 2010. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be provided to the incumbent IDIQ contractors on or about February 12, 2010. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by the contractor will utilize funds provided by the Act. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements, is required. (ATN #CO0001F)
