- Responses to Questions Received: Q-1) Can you please provide a Statement of Objectives, SOW, or Requirements for the program? (draft, outline, or even bulleted list) A-1) At this time, FERC is only prepared to share the information posted in the RFI. Q-2) What is the preferred presentation composition? (slide presentation w/ a question period, interactive discussion, product demonstration, a blend of these) A-2) Presentation format will be at the vendor's discretion. Q-3) How many participants does the FERC plan to have attend the presentation? A-3) No more than 20. Q-4) Can you please provide any information on the composition of the audience? (areas of interest, career levels, experience) A-4) Audience will include our Deputy Chief Financial Officer, primary users of the financial management system (i.e. Procurement, Finance, etc.) and technical subject matter experts. Q-5) Please describe the presentation venue and the facilities/equipment available. A-5) Conference Room at FERC Headquarters with internet access only. 1. Projector can be made available upon request. 2. FERC Laptop, for Power Point presentations provided on CD (no USB/thumb drives allowed) and/or presentation demos to be provided via web access, can be provided upon request. 3. Software cannot be installed on any FERC laptop. If vendor would like to demo software using their own laptop, please notify Contracting Officer in advance. If vendor requires internet access with their personal laptop, vendor must arrive at least 1 hour prior and allow for laptop screening prior to connectivity. Q-6) Are companies limited in the number of presenters and/or attendees they bring to the sessions? A-6) We request that there be no more than five (5) presenters. Q-7) How does FERC differentiate system servicing from cross-servicing? A-7) System-Servicing responsibilities include: • Technology Hosting and Administration -involves providing the IT infrastructure (facilities and infrastructure software) that serve as the foundation for running business software applications and the services to maintain that infrastructure. • Software Management - involves providing the software and services for running and managing access to business software applications, in this case, financial management software and the feeder systems that provide data to the financial management software. • System Implementation Services - includes services to help an agency through a migration of their current financial management operations to the SSP environment. Cross-Servicing responsibilities include: • Business Process Services - involves providing services ranging from transaction processing to financial management reporting and analysis. Additionally, FERC requests that all vendors notify the Contracting Officer, in writing, the names of all presenters that will represent the vendor at least two days prior to their arrival at FERC.
