Description

Recovery Funded: CHANGES: Site showing is postponed to a later date TBD. Bids will be due 30 days after posting of the solicitation. DELETE: "Bids are now due on February 3, 2010 at 2pm". Pilot Grove Site 28 solicitation is AG-7442-S-10-0027. See announcement on site showing information. USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The work includes repairs to three Watershed dams, Trinity Watershed Little Elm and Laterals Sites 16 and 19 and Pilot Grove Site 28 in Collin County, Texas. The designs for these sites will address the repair of slope slides along the embankment by lime-treatment and will consist of: preparing the access and campsite; removing fences from the work area; clearing grubbing the work area; stripping and stockpiling the topsoil from the embankment and lime processing area; excavating the embankment slopes; backfilling the embankment slopes with lime-treated earthfill and earthfill (as appropriate); placing topsoil 1-foot thick normal to the slope over the lime treated earthfill; and vegetating the disturbed areas. Range: $1-5 Million Solicitation to be posted o/a January 4, 2010.
