Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Region 5 has a requirement for the planting of approximately 133,000 containerized Atlantic White Cedar seedlings at the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, Suffolk County, VA and Camden County, NC. The proposed work includes all labor, equipment, and materials required to plant the seedlings in accordance with the statement of work. Seedlings will be provided by the Government. Solicitation number 50181AR007 will be posted on or about February 10, 2010, and may be viewed through a link to the National Business Center Interior electronic acquisition system-Electronic Commerce at http://www.fedbizopps.gov The solicitation response date will be approximately 15 days from the posting date. The period of performance will be from notice to proceed to April 2, 2010. The NAICS code corresponding to this work is 115112, with a small business standard of $7 million dollars annually. The Service Contract Act will apply to this contract. This procurement is set-aside for small business. All responsible, qualified sources may submit a proposal for consideration. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov to receive a contract award.
