- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This notice is for project No. 528A7-09-725, Installation of two (2) 750 ton water chillers at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, VISN 2, at 800 Irving Ave., Syracuse, New York 13210. This shall be a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). THIS IS A RECORVEY ACT PROJECT. The CONTRACTOR shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required to complete the work outlined in the statement of work section unless specified otherwise. The work under the project includes three (3) bid items to include installation of two (2) 750 ton water chillers as bid item #1, replacement of two cooling towers as bid item#2, and replacement of all roofs indicated on the plans as bid item#3. This procurement has been set-aside 100% for award to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. Please pay particular attention to the evaluation section of this solicitation. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 15 to a responsible SDVOSB responding to this solicitation. The SDVOSB contractor is required to perform a minimum of 25% of the construction work on the project. This does not include paperwork, submittals, etc. The SDVOB must be small under relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: www.vip.vetbiz.gov; www.ccr.gov; https://orca.bpn.gov and https://vets100.vets.dol.gov/ to be eligible for award. Offers must ensure their registrations are updated, correct, and have not expired. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 1/26/2010 at FedBizOps.gov. NAICS: 238220 apply. Size Standard: $14.0 million. PROJECT COST RANGE: $1,000,000.00-$5,000,000.00.
