Description
RECOVERY TAS::14 1041::TAS VAFO PMIS #152410 - Train Station Canopy-Rehabilitate Support Facilities at Washington's Headquarters Area - Phase 3 SUBJECT TO THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) OF 2009 REPORTING REQUIREMENTS THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS ONLY BEING OFFERED TO PERRYMAN BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION, OF PHILADELPHIA, PA, UNDER THE 8(a) PROGRAM AND IN FULL PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR AND THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINSTRATION PURSUANT TO FAR 19.805 AND WILL NOT BE COMPETED. This action is an 8(a) sole source set-aside; therefore, we are not seeking proposals but are announcing this project as required by ARRA. This ARRA project will consist of the general construction of Valley Forge Train Station platform canopies and associated lighting. The two canopies, each constructed upon the existing train station platform consists of a new roof, columns and plinths. The canopy construction consists of all work associated with the construction of the canopy structure, existing foundation demolition, concrete work, storm drain pipe, columns, structural beams, structural shapes, architectural surface finishes including cornices, beam wrap, and column wrap. The electrical work consists of all work required for the construction of electrical conduit, wiring and luminaries. The Valley Forge Trains station, constructed in 1912, is a contributing structure in a historic district and operates as a visitor contact facility. The estimated price range is $250,000 to $500,000.
