- In accordance with FAR 5.201, this is formal notice/synopsis of proposed contract action in support of the B-52 Training Systems program under NAICs code 336413. Program Description: The principal mission of the B-52 Training Systems program is to provide Air Combat Command (ACC) with continued support for B-52 trainers to meet ACC's requirement for effective, continual training of B-52 aircrews. Required support includes program management and on-site contractor logistic support (CLS) to operate, maintain and sustain the Aircrew Training Systems (ATDs) and the Training System Support Center (TSSC). Operation, maintenance, and sustainment activities include ATD deficiency reporting, tracking and resolutions, preventative and scheduled maintenance, and obsolescence research and rsolution. CLS requirements also include device and facility security and janitorial services. To meet ACC's requirement for high-fidelity, concurrent trainers, acquisition requirements also include sofrtware and hardware modification usppor t and upgrades to execute aircrat concurrencey modifications and technolgy insertion and obslescence upgrades. The proposed contract action will support government owned assets located at Barksdale AFB, LA, Minot AFB, ND, and Sheppard AFB, TX. The proposed five-year contract action is a 100% Small Business set-aside for annual CLS services, to include a base year and four option years. Concurrency and upgrade modification will be incorporated into the contract through future ECPs/CCPs as required. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency, however foreign contractors will not be permitted to participate at the prime contractor level. Technical data pertinent to the proposed contract action is available through the B-52 program office at Hill AFB, UT, and the TSSC at Barksdale AFB, UT. To obtain access to needed technical data contact B-52 Training Systems Program Manager Catherine Wolfe at catherine.wolfe@hill.af.mil. The solicitation/request for proposal (RFP) for the proposed contract action is available in draft form for review at this FBO website. The formal solicitation/RFP for the proposed contract action will be released to this FBO website as well, but not sooner than 15 days after posting of this synopsis.
