Description

DISA BAA-DSO-10-01 The Defense Information Systems Agency is interested in developing system architectures for DSA networks through the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) process, in accordance with FAR 35.016. The following information is for those wishing to respond to the BAA. Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA) has emerged in recent years as a capability that has the potential to effectively address spectrum access challenges by allowing dynamic, flexible, and autonomous spectrum access. DSA is realized through wireless networking architectures and technologies that enable wireless devices to dynamically adapt their spectrum access according to criteria such as policy constraints, spectrum availability, propagation environment, and application performance requirements. Fundamental changes are required in the way the DoD obtains and utilizes its spectrum resources to address increased spectrum demand and DSA technologies. DISA/DSO is seeking sources that are familiar with recent advances in DSA technologies and capable of performing analytical spectrum studies of DSA networks.
