- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (Not a Notice of Solicitation) The United States Air Force, 88 th CONS/PKB, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is seeking potential sources to provide Military Family Housing maintenance on Wright-Patterson AFB. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: HOUSING MAINTENANCE: Military Family Housing Maintenance: The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, supplies, materials, equipment, vehicles and services necessary to perform military family housing maintenance and repair services in the Brick Quarters housing area at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The Contractor shall provide the technical knowledge and skills necessary to perform services to meet the standards set forth in this Performance Work Statement for the housing units and support facilities. The Contractor shall maintain military family housing units in a timely manner to achieve clean, safe and livable conditions. All work shall be performed in accordance with manufacturers recommendations, national codes (Electric Code, Plumbing Code, etc.) industry standards (American Concrete Institute, Carpet and Rug Institute, Gypsum Association, etc.), and applicable federal, state and local rules and regulations unless otherwise specified herein. Military family housing maintenance applies to all of the housing units, storage and garage buildings, playgrounds and buildings provided for the Contractors use. The Air Force anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition. Firms responding should indicate whether they are, or are not, a small business, a socially and economically disadvantaged business, or a woman- owned business. All interested firms shall submit information demonstrating their capabilities to perform the work herein described. For this procurement, a small business is a concern, with its affiliates, that is independently owned and operated, not dominant in the field of operation in which it is proposing on Air Force contracts, whose gross average annual receipts for the three preceding fiscal years does not exceed $10.5M. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this announcement. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/Foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this synopsis as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose. Technical Capabilities package : All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates capabilities and expertise related to this effort. One package can be used for both scenarios, but they should be segregated for evaluation purposes.
