- *Modification to clarify the delineated area, as noted below. REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease a minimum of 72,769 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous office and related space in Homewood, AL. Lease term is fifteen (15) years, ten (10) years firm. Space should be ready for occupancy no later than July 1, 2011 or 365 days from lease award. The space must be located within the delineated area noted below: Start at the intersection of I - 20/ I - 59 and I-65 South on I 65. Turn West at 2nd Ave N (becomes Tuscaloosa Ave) to Lomb Avenue, SW East on Lomb Ave - turns into 4th Street SW 4th Street SW (also called MLK Drive and Montevallo Road) to West Oxmoor Road South on West Oxmoor Road to W. Lakeshore Parkway Lakeshore Parkway West to Shannon Whenonah Road (also known as County Route 93) South on County Route 93 to Shannon Oxmoor Road Shannon Oxmoor Road to West Oxmoor Road (also known as County Route 42) West Oxmoor Road south to Valley Street (also known as County Route 42) Valley Street to Tyler Road (also known as County Route 42) Tyler Road to Interstate 65 South on Interstate I-65 to Highway 459 NE on Highway 459 to I-20 West on I-20 to Montclair Road West on Montclair/ Country Club Road/ Pawnee Avenue/ Niazuma Avenue/ 26th Street 26th Street South to 280 (also called Elton B Stephens Expressway and Hwy 3) 280 North to I-20 I-20 West to Starting point For security reasons, the Government requires a single tenant building. Proposed buildings must have a 20-foot setback. Two hundred fifty (250) secured parking spaces shall be available for employees/visitors use. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Site must be located outside the 100-year flood plain. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building’s ownership.
