Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Bell Boeing JPO to procure spares for the Gearbox Test Stand at V-22 depot Cherry Point, North Carolina. The spares procured will be the bolt kit (P/N 901-045-001-101 GIS-005-0001) splined flange (P/N 901-045-001-101 GIS-005001) dynamomter (P/N 101-060-007, 101-100-010, 101-060-020) splined adapter (P/N 901-045-001 GIS-003-001) V-band clamp (P/N 30-257-1) thermocouple, proximity probe, chip detector, pressure transducers, electrical connector, pylon shaft, WDC-13, WDC-16, lubrication filters, water filters, motor shaft, wing shaft assembly, hyd pump shaft, nacelle blower shaft, and lubrication tank. The Navy intends to procure this effort under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Firms that believe they can satisfy this requirement are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the Navy in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Navy not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Navy. A solicitation is not available for this procurement. This effort will commence within approximately 30 days after the date of the subsequent contract.
