Description

The Northeast Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement for construction services and is therefore issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a firm fixed price contract at the North Attleboro National Fish Hatchery, located in the Town of North Attleboro, County of Bristol, MA, under the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, "Contracting By Negotiation". This Solicitation is a small business set aside executed in accordance with FAR Part 19. The Contractor will provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary for the Water Supply Connection, in accordance with the provided technical specifications and drawings. The magnitude of this work is between $250,000 to $500,000. The NAICS code corresponding to this work is 237110, with a small business standard of $33.5 million annually. The Davis Bacon wage rates will apply to this contract. This station is located in Bristol County, MA. The solicitation, technical specifications and drawings will be POSTED ON OR AROUND February 10, 2010 and proposals will be due by 2pm March 11, 2010. No telephone requests will be accepted. Bonding is a requirement for this project (20% bid bond; 100% payment bond; AND 100% performance bond). A business must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov, an must have completed Online Representations and Certifications (ORAC) at www.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. A site visit may be arranged by contacting the Hatchery Manager at (508) 695-5002. The Hatchery is located at 144 Bungay Road, North Attleboro, MA.
