THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE. The intent of this "sources sought" notice is to identify potential U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) and 8(a) Small Business firms capable of providing the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 561320, Temporary Services; Small Business Size Standard, $13.5M for the following temporary service categories 1) Administrative Support and Clerical Services; (2) Quarters Management Services; (3) Health Services; (4) Information and Arts; (5) Information Technology; (6) Instructional and Training Services, (7) Maritime Material Handling, (8) Mechanics and Maintenance and Repair; (9) Plant and System Operation; (10) Engineering/Technical Support; (11) Mobile Equipment Operation; (12) Financial Management; (13) Specialized Technol! ogy; (14) Industrial Services; and (15) General Services and Support on an intermittent basis at various Navy and Marine locations worldwide which are divided in six (6) geographic areas: AREA I: (Guam, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea); AREA II: (Hawaii); AREA III: (Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming); AREA IV: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, and Puerto Rico); AREA V: (Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin): AREA VI: (Europe and Southwest Asia). THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls or emails will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation because THERE IS NO BID PACKAGE OR SOLICITATION AVAILABLE. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. Interested SBA certified Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) and 8(a) Small Business firms may submit their interest and capability response to FISC San Diego, Contracting Dept., Attn: P. Brown, 937 N. Harbor Drive San Diego, CA 92132-0060 or via email at: penny.brown@navy.mil no later than February 3, 2010. Reponses to this Sources Sought request should reference the Sources Sought number and shall include the following information in this format: 1. Company name, address, Point of Contact name, phone number, fax number and email address. 2. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 3. Business Size. 4. Capability statement displaying the contractor's ability to provide temporary Services and the categories of services provided. 5. Include the areas (1-6) supported and any other supporting documentation. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise, experience and financial capability to compete for this acquisition. Submissions are not to exceed two (2) typewritten pages in no less than 12 pitch font. This "sources sought" notice is for market research information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. This notice is 'not' a Request for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources. No solicitation document exists.
