Description
Drawings Specifications Request for Proposals Exhibit D Exhibit C Exhibit B Exhibit A FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 The US Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, is soliciting for a project to include, but not be limited to, construction services to upgrade the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems to the Dietetics Kitchen and support spaces; Canteen kitchen and canteen cafeteria; all spaces on the Fourth Floor and all spaces on the Fifth Floor within the hospital building at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, Saginaw, Michigan. The project will include the installation of four air-handlers with associated condensing units, ductwork, piping, electrical work, etc. The air-handlers range in size from 6000 CFM to 18000 CFM and will contain hot water heating coils and DX cooling coils. One of the air handlers will be installed in the new Energy Center which is currently being constructed at the facility. The project also includes the installation of VAV boxes with hot water reheat and their associated piping and DDC controls, humidifiers, exhaust fans, and various grills, diffusers, louvers, etc. General Information: Location: Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, Saginaw, Michigan. This project is an UNRESTRICTED procurement, open to businesses of all sizes. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Contractors must be able to bond to $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 238220.The small business size standard for this requirement is $14 million in average annual receipts over the past three years.
