The Dodge Gym pool area requires window and utility system repair. The pool windows are over 30 years old and are deteriorating and leaking. The pool exhaust system has deteriorated due to the chlorine content in the air in the pool space, with the system operating at only 50% efficiency. There are currently no GFI power outlets in the pool area. The facility lacks proper emergency lighting, resulting in patrons being trapped in unlighted spaces in the event of a power outage. Interior finishes and fixtures in the DV locker room require replacement as they have become worn with age. Basketball court ceiling paint is deteriorating and flaking off onto the basketball court below. Basketball court lighting needs replacement. Workout area surfaces are becoming worn and require painting. Estimated magnitude of the proposed acquisition is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Requirements: 1. Contractor shall remove all debris and refuse from jobsite on a daily basis. 2. The Contractor shall barricade and post the work area to restrict non-project related personnel traffic. 3. The contractor shall conduct his work in such a manner that it would not inhibit or cease operations being conducted in and around the project area without the written approval from the contracting officer. 4. Should welding or the use of any flame apparatus occur, approval shall be obtained from the Fire Inspector prior to proceeding. Notification to the Fire Inspector for a clearance requires the request be made at a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the desired "hot" work. 5. Contractor shall be in compliance with all applicable safety and security requirements. 6. Changes to this contract shall be allowed only by the Contracting Officer. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFARS 252.204-704 "Required Central Contractor Registration," Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award.
