- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution in Bastrop, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP05011000069 for the procurement of Optometry services to be performed at FCI Bastrop located in Bastrop, Texas. The services will be performed in the Health Services Department for the inmate population. It is estimated that the contract will require an estimated 840 sessions a year (session being one hour) to be performed at an approximate rate of 7 sessions per month, normally between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. The contract period shall consist of one 12 month base year and 4 twelve month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about January 22, 2010. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621320. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must have a DUNS# and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through this website.
