- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): HDR Engineering, Inc. contract number W9127N08D00060019 Portland District Corps of Engineers intends to issue Task Order number 00019 using recovery act funding to contract number W9127N-08-D-0006 awarded to HDR Engineering, Inc. (DUNS number 187294624) for the following procurement: Plans and Specifications for the replacement of headgate machinery at Philpott Dam and Powerhouse located in the Henry and Franklin Counties on the Smith River in Bassett Virginia. The contractor shall develop Plans and Specifications for an electric-motor operated intake gate hoist to replace the existing headgate lifting machinery at Philpott, and a design discussion with detailed calculations, including but not limited to confirmation of the designs feasibility.
