Description

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Strategic Insight Mutual Fund Research and Consulting, LLC (Strategic Insight). Strategic Insight provides on-line access to information on trends and in-depth analyses of topics relating to mutual funds. Strategic Insight is the only known vendor capable of providing the data that is required by the Commission. Strategic Insight’s publications are copyrighted, and are not available from any other source. The period of performance will be for a base period of one year with four one-year options, effective March 28, 2010. The SEC intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
