- This project includes all work associated with the Fire Protection/Life Safety Upgrade, Valley International Airport (HRL, Harlingen, Texas Project generally consists of all work necessary to improve the architectural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protections systems to comply with OSHA regulations. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: a.Application of spray-on fireproofing materials to protect structural steel as shown on drawings.b.Firestopping existing and/or newly made through penetrations or openings through fire resistance rated walls, floors, soffit, etc. with fire-stop assemblies including sealant(s), caulks, mortars mineral/ceramic wool, gypsum wallboard, and/or masonry.c.Installation of gypsum wallboard within the stair as indicate on the drawings.d.Installation of smoke gaskets on doors and hatches as indicated on drawings.e.Installation of new fire alarm system.f.Installation of new extinguishers as indicated on drawings.g.Modifications to and testing, adjusting and balancing of the existing stair pressurization system..h.Replacement of existing emergency lighting as indicated on the drawings.i.Training for personnel assigned by the FAA.j.Preparation of documentation describing as-built configuration and operation and maintenance of systems and equipment and warranty of the work. Time: 90 Calendar Days Estimated Cost: Between $100,000 - $250,000 NACI: 238210 Size Standards: $14.0 Million This is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE project. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
