- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, 215 North Main St., White River Junction, VT 05009-0001, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for the ongoing maintenance and content updates to include website developments and improvements of the National Center for PTSD (NCPTSD) website with Vermont Technology Partners, Inc., work will include but not be limited to the following: The National Center for PTSD has an extensive Website that serves VA and other clinicians working with trauma and PTSD, veterans and their families, researchers, disaster workers, and other health care providers that deal with trauma as well as the general public. Vermont Technology Partners, Inc. (VTP) is intricately familiar with the website in question and the evolving area of information regarding PTSD.. Regular maintenance and service is required from an outside contractor. NCPTSD needs to continually update and maintain this extensive site, which contains over 2000 pages. Website requirements are continuously evolving based on current research and regulations to include special security access and requirements. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone inquiries will not be honored; however, interested parties may submit literature detailing how their services meet the VA requirements to the Contracting Officer. Responses received on or before January 30, 2010 will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice will be solely at the discretion of the government.
