Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTORS AWARDED THE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES INDEFINITE DELIVERY INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IDIQ) CONTRACT NUMBER IBM09D0010 WITH TRC, IBM09D0011 WITH MWH, AND IBM09D0012 WITH E2M. RECOVERY – Contractor will be required to assist the United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) in the delineation and mapping of all wetlands and all other “waters of the United States” subject to jurisdiction by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and/or Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act and all other state requirements. This work is required for the construction of the proposed Canutillo Levee and Floodwall located in Dona Ana, NM and El Paso, TX counties. An assessment of wetland functions and values is also needed. Major activities include: pre-application coordination/consultation with applicable parties; acquiring and reviewing existing topographic maps; conducting on-site investigations; delineate all wetlands and jurisdictional waters of the U.S.; indentify types and levels of wetland functions and values; produce project reports; and compile, prepare and submit 401/404 permit applications as required. The performance period is 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. THE RESULTING NEGOTIATED TASK ORDER MAY BE SYNOPSIZED AND ISSUED UNDER THE SUCCESSFULLY COMPETED AND EXISTING FIRM FIXED PRICE MULTIPLE AWARD IDIQ ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES CONTRACT REFERENCED ABOVE.
