Description

RECOVERY: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAIALABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROGRAM FFS PROJECT NUMBER 4141 R4HP TAS::14 1610::TAS This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the procurement of 4,230 tons of clean fill dirt free of debris and/or organic materials for delivery and stock piled at the Refuge Maintenance Center on SR 402, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Titusville, Florida. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 212321 and the size standard is 500 employees. The tenative date for issuance of the solicitation is 2/10/2010. The response date will be determined upon release of the RFQ. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a delivery date of 4/01/2010. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at http://fedbizopps.gov under RFQ 40181RQ074. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Registration with the Fish and Wildlife Service for Electronic Commerce (EC) at the National Business Center (NBC) Web Site will also be required. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (http://www.ccr.gov) and complete the Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800)333-0505.
