- NA Description: Requirement will be issued as a 100% Hubzone Set-Aside solicitation for M240 Trigger Assembly to be awarded as a 3 year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price contract. The item to be procured is: Trigger Assembly, NSN 1005-01-440-8010 and Part Number 11826230. Trigger and Frame Assembly (NSN: 1005-01-440-8010) (P/N 11826230) is used on the M240 Machine Gun. This assembly consists of the following parts: (1)-Right & Left Grip, (P/N 11826232-1 & -2), (1)-Charger Cable Guide, (P/N 11826234), (1)-Trigger Housing, (P/N 11826231), (1)-Small Arms Safety, (P/N 11826258), (1)-Sear, (P/N 11826253), (1)-Helical Torsion Sear Spring, (P/N 11826254), (1)-Trigger Assembly, (P/N 11826240) and misc: bolts, pins and washers. This assembly has numerous small close tolerance parts machined from Steel Bar, Extruded Aluminum, Polyamide Plastic and a heavy phosphate coating requirement. Guaranteed minimum quantities will be stated in the solicitation. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or before 16 February 2010. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. A License Agreement between FN Herstal, S.A. and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured in the US. US means the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, within the US. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. A Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement must be completed and returned prior to any TDP request. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: ROCK-TACOM-tdp@CONUS.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of it.
