Description
Solicitation •§ Provide labor and material to repair or replace 03-PMB-COND-904-SC with a Trane or equal condenser compressors, circuits and any other related problem(s). If both compressors need replacing, replace the entire condensing unit package with a similar Trane or equal unit. •§ Provide a new compressor motor contactor on replaced condenser. •§ Provide a new liquid line drier. •§ Provide a new suction line drier "if necessary" to ensue a clean system. •§ Provide a new compressor crank case heater "if" existing compressor has one. •§ Perform an acid test on damaged compressor oil. •§ Remove and store refrigerant for reuse if refrigerant is in good condition. Note: "Estimate", record and provide documentation to the HVAC System Engineer, the refrigerant removed in pounds. •§ Provide and install new refrigerant and oil to restore to "like new condition" type and quantity per manufacturers specifications. •§ Perform a function test to ensure like new operation once repair is complete and condenser is ready for operation. •§ When weather permits one (1) week of normal operation, perform an additional operational check and add/remove refrigerant as needed. •§ All work to be completed using good engineering practices for the replacement of a burnt refrigeration compressor. •§ Perform and document any applicable preventative maintenance necessary to ensure like new operation at any point of executing this replacement/repair. •§ Provide a minimum level of operating and diagnostic training to site personnel. •§ Perform diagnostic test of the system to ensure system is functioning properly upon completion of work. In addition, verify system parameters are set in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations.
