- RECOVERY--Modification issued to change the response date to read 10 March 2010. Issue date is changed to read on/or about 9 February 2010. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform breakwater repairs and other associated work for Breakwater repairs Atlantic Harbor of refuge, Carteret County, North Carolina. Repairs will require use of Geotextile Sandbags to placed and filled with material removed from Disposal Area 26 on two sandbag alignments within the Breakwater repair area. The area between the two sandbag alignments will be backfilled to a height 4.5 plus or minus.5 feet above mean high water with material removed from Disposal Area 26 located along Intracoastal waterway at Core Creek. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Solicitation is 100% HubZone Set Aside. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Solicitation will be issued on or about 9 February 2010 with bids due on or about 10 March 2010. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested parties must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. If you are registered, the Government is not responsible with providing you or your company with notification of any changes to this solicitation.
