- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Center (MICC-Center), Fort Sam Houston, Texas, intends to solicit offers for a Paving Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Contractor will be directly responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completion of all task orders assigned under this contract. Specifically, the Contractor will provide plans, equipment, materials, labor, management, and services necessary to provide paving on Fort Sam Houston, Camp Bullis, and Army/Air Force Canyon Lake facilities. Work consists of, but is not limited to paved roads, sidewalks, parking lots, demolition and removal of existing asphalt pavement, and etc. This requirement is a small business HUB Zone set-aside. The NAICS is 237310, with a size standard of $33.5 million. Award will be made to the offeror who submit proposals that are technically acceptable with a fair and reasonable price. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 16, 2010 with quotes due on or about March 2, 2010. The solicitation will be posted on the Army Single Face Industry (ASFI) and Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) websites. The period of performances base (12 months) plus four (4) 12-month option periods for a total of five (5) years. The estimated total value of the IDIQ contract is $ 2,500,000.00. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. Contractors wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain his or her copy of the solicitation from the ASFI (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and/or FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) websites. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to these websites. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from the aforementioned websites to update their files.
