- Amendment 1 Posted 02/03/2010: ADDITIONAL SITE VISIT INFORMATION POSTED IN AMENDMENT 1, dated February 3, 2010. The first site visit will occur February 4, 2010 with an additional site visit on February 6, 2010. Complete details are contained in Amendment 1. No additional site visits will be conducted. RFP Posted 01/27/10: The Solicitation package, containing 3 Volumes, posted January 27, 2010. The Site Visit will occur on February 4, 2010. REMINDER: You must request access to the RFP documents in order to be added as an Authorized Party. The new point of contact for this procurement is Heather Caney, heather.caney@gsa.gov. Notice Information, 01/14/10: The General Services Administration (GSA) Pacific Rim Region announces an opportunity for construction services for a repair and alteration project, USDC Carpet Base Replacement, at the United States Courthouse, 312 N. Spring St., Los Angeles, CA. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, supplies, materials, parts, equipment, and tools to perform the specified work. The scope of work for the USDC Carpet Base Replacement project includes but is not limited to furniture moving, carpet/base demolition, and carpet/base installation in several courtrooms and chambers. This requirement is a competitive, 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. See Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 19.1403 for status as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The NAICS associated with this procurement is 236220. The small business size standard associated with this NAICS is $33.5 million. The estimated project cost is between $250,000 and $500,000, with an anticipated project duration of approximately 180 calendar days. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 01/28/2010. The technical specifications in the RFP are considered Sensitive but Unclassified Information. Therefore, interested offerors will need to be approved prior to gaining access to the RFP package. In order to be granted access, an offeror must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (URL: http://www.ccr.gov). Once you have registered with CCR you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites.
