- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, has changed its requirement for Fall Creek Trunnion Rehabilitation and Hoisting Rope Replacement, Lowell, Lane County, OR. Presolicitation notice W9127N-10-R-0017 is amended as follows: The project title is now Fall Creek Trunnion Rehabilitation and Hoisting Rope Replacement and Lookout Point Spillway Gate Hoist Rope Replacement. The Magnitude of Construction will be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Additional work at Lookout Point Dam is added -- The scope of work will include the hoisting rope replacement of a minimum of one spillway tainter gate and up to five spillway tainter gates at Lookout Point Dam. The replacement of the hoisting ropes includes replacement of the wear plates, wire ropes, gate connection gears and compenents; reinstallation of the drums; and rope tensioning. The anticipated date this project will be issued will be issued in electronic format is now on/or about 22 February 2010 with a proposal due date no less than 30 days after issuance. All other information in the presolicitation notice remains the same.
