Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: The purpose of this modification is to incorporate the following changes:(a) Amend paragraph (iv) of the original solicitation. The following paragraph replaces paragraph (iv):The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose total offer represents the best value for the Government, price and technical factors considered. Gateway National Recreation Area - Sandy Hook Unit, NJ 07732 has a requirement/need for dumpsters and disposal of contents collected for the following: (1) up to twenty (20) - 30 cubic yard (CY) dumpsters from February 2010 through September 2010 at various locations at Sandy Hook ; (2) A Spring 2010 beach sweep. For Spring 2010, up to two (2) - 30 cubic yard (CY) dumpsters daily for ten (10) consecutive business days, for a maximum of twenty (20) total - 30 CY dumpsters shall be provided at various locations at Sandy Hook; and (3) A Summer 2010 beach sweep. For Summer 2010, up to two (2) - 30 cubic yard (CY) dumpsters daily for ten (10) consecutive business days, for a maximum of twenty (20) total - 30 CY dumpsters shall be provided at various locations at Sandy Hook. Locations will be told to the driver the day of delivery for all required dumpsters. The dumpsters will be used for waste collected during a beach cleanup activity. The debris will consist of wood and trash collected on the beaches. There will be some creosote in the wood collected. In addition, the Government is requesting quotes for dumping fees per ton for waste (wood and trash) as well as dumping fees per ton for mixed tires.(b) The following Bid Schedule replaces the bid schedule from the original announcement:CONTRACT BID SCHEDULE REQUEST FOR QUOTEDumpster and Disposal RequestGateway National Recreation Area - Sandy Hook UnitSubmit bid for all items: Failure to do so may render the bid non-responsive.
