Description

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 331111, Steel, for use in MK79 Pallets, there are seven (7) separate line items for this procurement. Line item 0001, in accordance with (IAW) ASTM A36/A36M Grade Steel Angle inches X 2 inches X 2 inches X 20 feet, quantity 4,405 each, line item 0002, HR Grade 1010 Grade Steel Flat Bar 0.25 inches X 4 inches X 20 feet, quantity 835 each, line item 0003 CR 1018 Grade Steel Round Bar 0.75dia. X 20 feet, quantity 52 each, line item 0004 IAW ASTM A36/A36M Grade Steel Flat Bar 0.25 inches X 3 inches X 20 feet, quantity 43 each, line item 0005, IAW ASTM A575/M1010 HR Grade Steel Flat Bar 0.25 inches X 2 inches X 20 feet, quantity of 187 each, line item 0006, IAW ASTM A1011/A1011M Grade Steel Flat Strip 10 Gauge X 2.25 inches X 20 feet, quantity 680 each and line item 0007 1A-36 Grade Steel Angle 0.25 inches X 1.5 inches X 1.5 inches X 20 feet, quantity 77 each. All material MUST have Mill Certification sheets, MUST be free of paint and have light to no rust. All bundles not to exceed 6000 pounds each. All shipments MUST be covered with tarps during transporting. Required delivery date for steel is 30 calendar days after date of contract award. FOB Destination, McAlester Army Ammunitions Plant, McAlester, OK. This will be a firm fixed price contract. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD will be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). Approximate issue date for solicitation is 11 February 2010 with closing date 25 February 2010. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to these web sites and is the contractors responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
